What are facts?

A fact is a statement that can be proven. It can be verified or attested to by reliable evidence. These statements do not reflect the emotion of the writer. 

Example: "The movie is three hours long."

What's an opinion?

An opinion is a statement that conveys the viewpoint of a writer on a particular subject. It tells what someone thinks or feels about ?something. It is a personal view that may or may not be true but there is no evidence supplied to prove it. 

Example: "The movie is boring."
