• Conservation means to save/protect

• The Law of Conservation states that matter is neither created nor destroyed. Instead, it just changes form.

• What does that mean though?

• Let’s first review the different kinds of changes that matter can go through:

• It can change state but stay the same substance. Example?

• It can dissolve, which means one substance seems to disappear. Example?

• A new substance can form. Example?
