How do you form the Subjunctive?

  • The 1st verb is conjugated normally in the present tense

  • Then you put the word "que" in

  • After the "que" you now conjugate in the Subjunctive

  • Put the verb in the "yo" form to pick up any go verbs (tengo, hago, pongo) or stem changes (juego, duermo, quiero)

  • Drop the "o"

  • Switch the ending. Ar verbs now take Er endings: e, es, e, emos, éis, en

  • Er/Ir verbs now take the Ar endings: a, as, a, amos, áis, an
