The passing of events

One year..

One year is the amount time it takes the the earth to revolve around the sun!

One day.....

One day is the amount of time it takes the earth to rotate on its own axis.

One solar year..

One solar year equals 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 46.05 seconds which is approximately 365 days 

Leap year...

For a year to be a leap year it must divide exactly by 4, unless the year ends in 2 zeros. Centruy years must be divisble by 400.
