  1. PRANCE: to walk or dance in a proud, energetic way, often raising the legs high, as if to show off.

    1. GRATE — can have two meanings:

(verb) to rub something (like cheese) against a rough surface to make small bits;

  • (verb figurative) to irritate or annoy.

SHOVE: to push someone or something forcefully.

  2. SCRABBLE: to scratch or scrape about with one’s fingers (to find something), or also like a reword game (“Scrabble”).

  3. SCUTTER: to move quickly with short steps, especially to escape.

  4. HOARSE: (adjective) sounding rough, harsh, or strained

  5. STUMBLE: to trip or nearly fall while walking; to make a mistake or pause briefly in speaking.
    HUDDLED: (past tense / past participle of “huddle”) — to come close together in a group.
