If you are in the outfield and the ball is hit on the ground

Back

Throw TWO bases in front of the runner

If you are in the outfield and the ball is hit in the air

Throw ONE base in front of the runner

If the ball is hit WAY behind you and over your head

Get the ball, listen to where the infield is telling you to throw it

Throw it into second base/the cut off
