Light travels in waves

Most of the light you see is white or natural

Light travels fast at a speed of 300,000 kilometres per second and will go on until it hits an object that comes in it's path

Sir Isaac Newton was the 1st scientist to discover anything about light and colour

The sun is the most important source of visible light

Light always travel in a straight line from it's source. The lines are called rays

When light shines on a white object all the colours are reflected so the object looks white. Black objects absorb light of every colour and reflect none.

An object has a particular colour because it reflects one colour to the eyes and absorbs all the other colours. Ex. GREEN OBJECTS LOOK GREEN BECAUSE THEY ABSORB MOST OF THE OTHER COLOURS IN LIGHT BUT ONLY REFLECT THE GREEN LIGHT.
