Fractions which have the same value, even though they may look different. Example: 1/2 and 2/4 are equivalent, because they are both 'half'.

Proportion says that two ratios (or fractions) are equal. Example: 1/3 = 2/6.

A drawing that shows a real object with accurate sizes reduced or enlarged by a certain amount (called the scale).

How much of something per 1 unit of something else. Example: 100 cars pass by in 2 hours. The unit rate is 50 cars per hour.
