material still in its natural or original state before processing or manufacture.  Raw materials are resources like gold, trees, and oil that will be turned into something else.  For example, trees will be turned into lumber to build houses.

measuring or judging one's own culture against another culture and can lead to judging someone else's culture negatively. Ethnocentrism is also the belief that one's own culture is the best and better than another’s culture.
